A GLIMPSE INTO THE LIFE OF A WRITER PART III

Blog Post Six | MY MUSE

DISCLAIMER:
To embody the reality of the thought process there may be discontinuity within a blog post and strings of incomplete thoughts.

I’ve always been an individual that is overwhelmingly impressed by the mechanics of different things . I appreciate one’s work when I understand the logistics and process that was taken to produce the content. This is probably one of the many reasons why I felt compelled to start blogging because I wanted to invite readers into side of me that is not seen in my work. With that being said I believe that a large scale of the content of my work is influenced by my belief in God, music, & nature. In my opinion, these three elements form the lattice structure of my work and there wouldn’t be any content without the inspiration of these element. By analyzing my work, my readers can gain an understanding of how I view the world through the tools that I’ve gain with my growing relationship with God . For example, I always marvel at the divine intervention that I’ve experience throughout my life and its impeccable timing. I marvel at how the world operates autonomously despite our constant interaction. I marvel how my action is succinct with another and together we revolve the world. The bittersweet effects of time is also something that my mind will always be impressed by as it demonstrates how the small details matter. Of course the change is minimal if we only look at it annually, however, longitudinally, one year is certainly different than 30 years and 30 years is certainly different than 80 years. I’m also an individual that is intrigued by wordplay and the meaning that lies within the parameter of another word. My relationship with God motivates me to explore the shores that would be harder to reach without God’s help. As cliche as it may sound, I truly believe that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). The music that I listen to influences the direction of the plot and intensify the feelings of the novel. Nature itself provides endless amount of visuals that draws in perspective that builds on a reality that can be viewed through the naked eye. Of course there are a lot of other things that influence me, however, these three element form the main structure of my work, which can be seen by looking deeper into my work.
